Und das zweite war das Spitfire zurück im Jahr 2013.
Ich begann diese F-15 im Jahr 2014, und nicht viel, weil der Real-Life.
Um meine Hand zu wärmen und zu lernen und zu verbessern, setzte ich dieses Projekt fort.
Cockpit ist einfach zu montieren. Fir dieses spezifische Kit die Abziehbilder sind sehr schlecht.
Ich benutzte die Innenräume eines Papier-Kit (reduziert auf die Waage).
Ich verstehe, dass diese F-15 wurde im vergangenen Jahr mit aktualisierten und vollständiger Decals neu veröffentlicht.
So far this is my third plastic model. First was another F-15 more than 10 years ago,
and the second was the Spitfire back in 2013.
I started this F-15 in 2014, and didn't advance much because of real-life.
To keep warming my hand, and learning and improving by doing, I continued this project.
Cockpit is easy to assemble. Fir this specific kit the decals are very poor.
I used the interiors of a paper kit (reduced to match the scale).
I understand this F-15 has been re-released last year with updated and more complete decals.

The nozzles are the weak point of this kit. Don't resemble much the originals.
Detail ist fein und gut geformt. Die Paneellinien sind sehr präzise.
Zu meinem persönlichen Geschmack sind sie zu dick und zu tief. In dieser Größenordnung sollten sie fast unsichtbar sein.
So füllte ich sie, um sie sehr subtil zu machen.
Detail is fine and well molded. The panel lines are quite precise.
To my personal taste they are too thick and too deep. At that scale they should be almost invisible.
So I filled them to make them very subtle.

A few days ago I started painting
Aus irgendeinem Grund hatte Revell eine Obsession mit Tiger Meet Livreen für eine Zeit, und dieses Kit nur angeboten, dass Option.
For some reason Revell had an obsession with Tiger Meet liveries for a time, and this kit only offered that option.
Wenn Sie bauen dieses Kit, beachten Sie, dass die meisten der Aufkleber sind zu groß. Sie müssen ein paar Millimeter getrimmt werden
(Und manchmal mehr), damit sie richtig passen.
If you are building this kit, note that most of the decals are too big. They need to be trimmed a couple of millimeters
(and sometimes more) to make them fit properly.
Raketen sind schön und zart. Aber nur ein paar.
Ich schleifte die Flossen ein wenig.
Missiles are nice, and delicate. But just a few.
I sanded thin the fins a bit.
Ich hatte ein ernstes Problem mit Revells AquaColor Matte Klarlack.
Es muss sehr verdünnt sein, und sogar so, es zeigt einen weiß-milchigen Rest in einigen Teilen, wenn es trocknet.
Das ist schrecklich.

I had a serious problem with Revell's AquaColor matte clear coat.
It needs to be very thinned, and even so, it shows a white-milky remnant in some parts when it dries.
That's horrible.

In this last photo (besides the problem with the clear coat) you can see also another detail I added.
The instructions call to paint navigation lights. But I cut the tip of the wing, cut a plastic of the proper color,
and glued and sanded.
Is not perfect, but I'm satisfied with the experiment. I just wanted to know if it was possible to do it
Um zu versuchen, die milchige Spur zu lösen, die durch den Klarlack zurückgeblieben war, musste ich einige Wäschen verwenden.
Am Ende war die Farbe etwas dunkler. Und Abziehbilder mussten nacheinander gereinigt werden.

To try to solve the milky trace left by the clear coat I had to use some washes.
In the end the color turned to be a bit darker. And decals had to be cleaned one by one.
It increased the time, but also taught me a couple of things

Die Steuerbordantenne ist sehr empfindlich. Ich brach es und Hut, um es mit einer kleinen hypodermischen Nadel zu ersetzen.
The starboard antenna is very fragile. I broke it and hat to replace it with a small hypodermic needle.

Um zu beenden: nur, wenn Foto-Shooting vorbei war, fiel ein Hintergrundpapier, trieb die Eagle fliegen von der Tabelle auf den Boden, und hatte ein tragisches Finale.
To finish: just when photo shoot was over, a background paper fell, propelled the Eagle flying from the table to the floor,and had a tragic finale.
Das Gute ist, dass ich mehr gelernt. Nach und nach verstehe ich mehr, wie man Plastikmodelle zusammenstellt.
Ich mag diese kleine Maßstab wirklich nicht. Aber die Herausforderungen sind sehr interessant
